How much does a living trust cost in California?
A couple's trust package is $2,000 and a single-person trust package is $1,500, plus $250 per minor child. A will package is $500 per person. No hidden fees and no separate document charges. A 50% deposit starts the work.
Do I need a trust if I already have a will?
A will alone does not avoid California probate. If you own California real property or your estate exceeds the small-estate threshold, your family will likely go through probate even with a will. A funded revocable living trust is what keeps the estate out of court.
